The AIHP finalized its 2023 end of year gift giving campaign in late December! All of the staff and the AIHP Board of Directors wish to heartily thank those members and friends who supported the campaign with their generosity.
In total, the AIHP raised over $6000 to support the AIHP Collections. Again, we want to thank everyone who took part in the campaign!
As part of the effort to awareness and support, the AIHP instituted a prize draw for one lucky contributor. The winner this year is Ami Jo Digatono, who has been an AIHP member since 2019. Ami Jo is a pharmacist based in Minneapolis and she has been awarded a special framed print, which will be sent to her in early February. Congratulations!
The end of year gift giving campaign, which ran from September to December, was dedicated to AIHP Collections. The generous donations will be used to buy new scanning and computer equipment to assist staff in carrying out digitization efforts in 2024 and afterward. In particular AIHP staff are excited the Institute is now able to purchase an A3 flatbed scanner for larger print items; at present, library and archival staff are not able to do this type of work in the AIHP headquarters. Donations will also be used to augment gaps in the collections and support the purchase of new historical books and ephemera.
Once again, the AIHP wants to thank all its members and supports for their time, treasure, and talent!
