Early on Sunday, August 10, heavy rains across southern Wisconsin caused flooding in the AIHP offices, archives, and library and between one and a half and three inches of water entered our spaces. Thankfully, the water was discovered quickly, and by 8:30 a.m., staff were on-site working to protect materials and mitigate damage.
As we begin recovery efforts, please note that responses to research inquiries may take longer than usual, approximately 5-7 business days. We are currently assessing the full scope of the damage, safeguarding the rest of the collection, and coordinating with the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy to repair the affected areas.
Until further notice, we are unable to accommodate in-person appointments.
For all questions and correspondence, please email us at aihp@aihp.org, as our phone lines are currently unavailable. We will keep you informed as the situation evolves.
