We are excited to announce the launch of the Pharmacy History Working Group, hosted by the Consortium for the History of Science, Technology and Medicine! For several years, AIHP has been a member of CHSTM and this year it has taken the next step to co-create a new working group. The group offers a vibrant space for exploring how pharmacy has shaped—and been shaped by—science, society, and culture across time and around the world. From ancient materia medica to contemporary AI-driven drug development, pharmacy is more than pills and prescriptions: it is a profession, a science, a business, and a deeply human endeavor.
