Dr. Boyle first joined AIHP’s Board of Directors in 2020 as an appointed director. The Board elected her to the position of Vice President in December 2021 to serve the remaining year of the term of Vice President John Grabenstein, who had vacated that position in November 2021 to become AIHP’s President.

The Nominating Committee selected two candidates for the Director position being vacated by Arthur Daemmrich, PhD, who had served two three-year terms. In addition to Ms. Kienle, the Committee nominated Terri Smith Moore, PhD, MBA, RPh, CPH. Dr. is currently the Senior Director of Academic Services and Strategic Initiatives at the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).

Ms. Kienle won the election by a four vote margin. AIHP President John D. Grabenstein, PhD, observed that “the closeness of the election is a testament to the outstanding qualifications of the nominees.”
