The Development Officer supports, develops, and executes fundraising initiatives to advance AIHP’s mission and goals. The role includes researching, prospecting, cultivating, and managing donor relationships, coordinating fundraising activities, and managing all incoming donations. The position also implements day-to-day communications in alignment with the Board of Directors and Executive Director, and collaborates with staff to develop and promote AIHP’s archives and library, programming, and publications—engaging directly with members and friends of AIHP.
Fundraising (100%) – Provide leadership, support, and execution in fundraising, grant writing, and membership development. Steward donor relationships; lead donor database efforts, plan events, manage interns, develop and promote campaigns, research donors, and submit funding proposals. Lead community engagement, maintain relationships with stakeholders, and maintain accurate records of donations/grants. Collaborate across staff and Board; analyze data to identify growth opportunities.
