The AIHP finalized its 2024 end-of-year gift-giving campaign in late December! All of the staff and the AIHP Board of Directors wish to heartily thank those members and friends who supported the campaign with their generosity.
In total, the AIHP raised over $6500 to help kickstart our capital campaign, enhance our collections, and connect and share our collections with our members and the public. We are happy to report that we are working with Lila Halpern to obtain the Lila and Emanuel Halpern Pharmacy Collection, and while on a visit to see the collection, UW-Madison School of Pharmacy archivist Hannah Swan brought a portion of the Halpern’s archival collection back to AIHP.
Some highlights of this collection include a series of booklets on hormone therapy by Reed & Carnrick and a collection of Caroid ink blotters, all of which feature incredible typography. A veritable feast for historical researchers and design enthusiasts alike!
These images and more are available on our digital library, the Edward Kremers Research Library and Archives Digital Collections. Again, we want to thank everyone who took part in the campaign!
